At approximately 2 a.m. on Monday, April 17, first responders were called to the 3500 block of Toledo Terrace in Chillum for a reported structure fire near The Mall at Prince George’s.
Officials say that all occupants of the building were able to escape safely, though two firefighters from the Prince George Fire Department suffered undisclosed injuries.
The fire left 11 adults and four children displaced. They are now being assisted by the county’s Office of Emergency Management.
The cause and origin of the fire both remain under investigation.
